Course Objective

Following this course, participants will understand the equipment and materials utilised for hydraulic fracturing as well as an overview of job execution, key HSE issues, as well as potential problems.

Acid Stimulation is used during well operations, and this course offers an overview of acid fracturing, hydraulic fracture assistance, acid matrix treatments, scale removal and mud damage removal. The course will also focus on potential HSE risks. Gravel packing is a method of sand control which requires the pumping of sand in a controlled method using various carrying fluids, in this module we will look at the various types of gravel packing, such as OHGP, CHGP & HRWP.
