This course provides a comprehensive exploration of smart well technologies, focusing on their design, implementation, and management in challenging underwater environments. By studying fundamental concepts, components, applications, and challenges, participants will develop the expertise needed for informed decision-making and effective interventions in subsea industries.

MODULE 1 – Overview of Smart Well Interfaces

Smart Well Interfaces – Overview of examples such as Halliburton Intelligent completions & Proserv’s various SCM’s

MODULE 2 – Interventions System

Review of the various interventions systems such as RWLI, WOR supplied by FMC, Helix, Oceaneering
Various videos as well as real-life examples of the types of operations that can be conducted

MODULE 3 – Latest Technology

A brief overview of some of the latest technologies being marketed with a particular focus on “time-saving opportunities”
Overview of multi-line spooling video on a “stack-up test” of a deepwater completion installation.
