    • Extended Reach, High Angle and Complex Well Operations Engineering Course
      All day
      2019.02.05-2019.02.07
      W N St, Aberdeen AB24, UK

Invest in yourself, your team and ultimately your results by attending a Merlin ERD Operations and Engineering training course in 2019.

As world leaders in the design and delivery of extended reach, high angle and complex wells, our clients leverage our specialist knowledge and techniques to make challenging wells simple, marginal projects economical and problematic operations trouble-free.  Part of our value offering to clients is our ability to share this knowledge and deliver world-class training to high performing teams globally.

Despite a reduction in training investment throughout the industry since the downturn in late 2014, ensuring operations teams are equipped with the right skills and knowledge to deliver the greatest value on projects is now more relevant than ever.

Our next open seat course is now available to book!

      Course Details:

This training course is designed to educate key drilling personnel in the very latest extended reach, high angle and complex well drilling practices and is key to identify the critical success factors to reduce drilling risk, time and cost. Our training programmes cover a wide range of back-to-basics topics which are equally applicable to deviated and horizontal wells as they are to extended reach and complex wells.

      Designed for:

Drilling Engineers, wellsite leaders or decision makers, before they become responsible for high angle wells design or operations.

      • Drilling Engineers
      • Wellsite Leaders (Drilling Supervisor night & day)
      • Onshore Team Leaders
      • Rig Crew from Shaker hand all the way to Toolpusher
      • Mature career transfers (discipline or inter-company)

What you will learn and takeaway:

      • How to reduce NPT, assure wellbore stability and deliver efficient hole cleaning.
      • Understand the root cause of 80% of downhole problems and how to avoid them.
      • Critical success factors relevant to any high angle well.
      • Gaining insight from the sharing of drilling experiences.
      • How to identify and incorporate advanced ERD technologies into standard deviated wells.
      • Relevant industry achievements and technologies delivering these worldwide.
      • Build your network with industry peers.

      Trainers:

Taught by engineers for engineers.  Working on some of the world’s most challenging wells, our engineers bring relevant insight to the course materials.  This insight can demonstrate how to increase drilling efficiencies and unlock opportunities.  They cover the topics utilising practical examples, and case studies demonstrating lessons learned from real life events.

Do you have an event that you want to promote?

For consultants and companies who wish to promote their events or courses, we can set up your account. This consists of a company profile page, with any media, and links back to the relevant pages of your website. You provide the details, and we will design and publish on your behalf.

We charge a setup fee of $100 per company page, which will be hosted on our website permanently.

Prices for each event are based on a maximum number of delegates:

    • Up to 30 attendees: $25 per event.
    • 31-100 attendees: $50 per event.
    • 100+ attendees: $100 per event.

Then, we can add your company and event(s) to our calendar. You can have a write-up for both your company and event, with a photo, a map, and any other promotional information provided.

These pages will be indexed in the search engines and will show up when potential attendees search. Drillers.com has good standing in the search engines, so this is permanent publicity and promotion for your company.

We also publicise your event on social media, reach out to our network, and do what we can to get attention.

Incidentally, we can also help you with PR, articles and other good stuff; we can work out a custom advertising package for you. Take a look at our MEDIA PACK and RATE CARD for more details on our promotional services.
